Since 1994 I have been a primary school teacher and taught in The Netherlands, The UK, Sydney and here in Melbourne. After a terrible frozen shoulder, I was unable to write and do my job efficiently.

I had to take nearly 3 months off teaching and was on very strong painkillers. I attended weekly Physiotherapy and Chiropractic sessions but the healing process was extremely slowly and painful.

A few years later I got a frozen shoulder again and this time someone suggested Bowen Therapy. After only a couple of treatments, I could lift my arm again and was out of pain and have been ever since.

I became so inspired by this ever so gentle technique that I decided to learn the Bowen Technique myself.

In 2003 I qualified as a Bowen Therapist and started treating people from home. Since then I have also started work in various clinics. I love what I am doing and it is enormously satisfying to give great relief to people who suffer injuries or pain.

I am a fully accredited Advanced Bowen Therapist and a member of the Bowen Therapist Association of Australia. I also have a healthcare provider number which enables me to offer health fund rebates.
